Ferdinand Hellers is a Swedish chess grandmaster. Born on January 28, 1969, Hellers won the Swedish Chess Championship in 1985 and was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 1989.


In 1990, Hellers was part of the Swedish team at the 29th Chess Olympiad and played in the 1997 FIDE World Chess Championship but did not progress beyond the first round. He has won the Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament twice and has participated and performed successfully in several other chess tournaments throughout his career.


Ferdinand Hellers has also made notable contributions to the opening theory of certain chess variants. Despite his achievements, his activity in chess has been limited since the late 1990s. There isn't much information about Hellers's personal life; the Swedish grandmaster is a private individual.
