Conrad Holt is a notable American chess grandmaster. He was named a National Master in 2007, an International Master in 2011, and a Grandmaster in 2012. Holt was born in Wichita, Kansas, on January 9, 1993. He showed an early interest in chess, winning the Kansas High School Chess Championship four times and the 2008 and 2010 National High School (K-12) Championship.
Holt attended the University of Texas at Dallas on a chess scholarship, where he earned a degree in Physics. He had notable placements in a number of competitions, including the 2008 World Under 16 Championships, where he placed fourth, and the 2011 U.S. Championship, where he placed ninth.
