Ádám Horváth is a notable Hungarian chess Grandmaster. Born on July 5, 1981, he earned the title of Grandmaster in 2002. Horváth has competed and found success in many chess tournaments throughout his career.
From 2008 to 2014, Horváth studied Mathematics at the University of Szeged. Simultaneously, he continued winning titles in chess tournaments, achieving the fourth position in Zalakaros in 2010 and yet again, the fourth position in Budapest in 2008 and 2010. At the Hungarian Championship held in 2014, he secured second place with a score of 8.5/11.
In addition to his competitive play, Horváth is also an accomplished chess coach. He mentored aspiring chess players at the Maroczy Chess School, teaching them the fundamentals of the game. He is also experienced in teaching chess at the university level.
