Ilia Valerievich Iljiushenok is a Russian chess Grandmaster. He was born on December 19, 1991 in Leningrad, Russia (now St. Petersburg). He became a FIDE master in 2008, an International Master in 2011, and a Grandmaster in 2015. He is known for his performances in the Russian Championship Superfinal and World Youth Chess Championship.
In 2011 he won the Under-18 section of the Russian Youth Chess Championship. In 2014, he shared first place with Ivan Bukavshin and Ildar Khairullin in the Russian Championship Higher League, a qualification tournament for the Russian Championship Superfinal, with a score of 6½/9 points. A year later, he qualified again for the Superfinal, where he scored 5/11 points. In 2015, Iliushenok competed in the World Youth Chess Championship in the Under-20 section, where he tied for the first place with five other players but was placed second on tiebreak.
