Ventzislav Inkiov is a Bulgarian chess Grandmaster. Born on 5th September 1956, Inkiov earned the prestigious title of International Grandmaster in 1982. He is known for his performances in several international chess tournaments. He won the Bulgarian Chess Championship in both 1979 and 1982. His successes continued with winning the Kjustendil Open in 1979 and 1980, the Grand Prix Ulpia Serdica in Sofia in 1985, the Belgrade Open in 1985 and 1991, and the Romanian Open Championships in 1988, 1992, and 1995. In 1989, Inkiov shared first place in the Open Romanian Championships.
Furthermore, Inkiov earned second place in multiple tournaments, these include the Open Romanian Championship in 1987, the Bulgarian Championship in 1984, and the 8th Agzamov Memorial Tournament, Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 1995. He also placed fifth in the Vidmar Memorial Tournament in Slovenia in 1999.
