Mikhail Kazakov is a prominent Russian chess Grandmaster. Born on August 15, 1965, in Moscow, Kazakov showed an early inclination towards chess. In 1987, he won the World Junior Chess Championship and was awarded the titles of International Master and Grandmaster in the same year. Throughout his career, he has participated in several high-level chess tournaments and matches, often ranking among the top players.
Kazakov has also made notable contributions to chess theory and wrote a series of articles related to the game.
