Jan Klimkowski is a Polish chess grandmaster, born on January 30, 2007. He began playing in the first grade, joined the UKS Smecz Konin club within months, and by 2016 was Polish rapid champion in the under-10 age group. Since 2019 he has trained with Jacek Tomczak.

A regular for Poland at European and World youth level, he collected numerous youth championship medals on the way to the Grandmaster title, which he completed in 2025 at the age of eighteen.
