GM Igor Koniushkov

Igor Koniushkov is a Russian chess Grandmaster, born on August 3, 1965, in Moscow. He achieved his Grandmaster title in 1992. Koniushkov has competed in numerous international chess competitions, chess tournaments and team chess events, such as the Soviet Junior Championships, multiple editions of the Chess Olympiad, and the Russian Team Chess Championships. He also has coaching experience, notably as the coach of Indian Grandmaster Pentala Harikrishna.
