Alexei Kornev is a Russian chess Grandmaster and chess trainer. Born on May 25, 1972 in Aktyubinsk, USSR, he earned the prestigious FIDE Grandmaster title in 2005. Since then, he has attained significant achievements in the chess world.
Moreover, Kornev has contributed to chess literature, having authored several chess books. His works include "A Practical White Repertoire with 1.d4 and 2.c4 – Volume 1", published in 2011, and it’s second and third volumes published in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
