Martin Krämer (born 17 April 1987) is a German chess Grandmaster. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by the International Chess Federation in 2016.
Krämer was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He began playing chess in local youth championships when he was 6 years old. He rapidly improved his skills, and in 2005, he won the German Youth Championship in his age group.
Krämer reached a milestone in his career when he won the Werder Bundesliga Championship in 2017. He achieved his first Grandmaster norm at the German Championship in Bonn in 2012, and earned his second and third norms in 2015 in chess festivals in Dresden and Deizisau.
