Tomas Kraus is a Czech chess grandmaster, born on August 30, 1995. He earned his Grandmaster norms at the Czech Chess Championship in May 2023, in the Extraliga 2023/2024 team competition that October, and at the 38th Voivoda Cup in June 2024, receiving the title in 2024.

His strongest championship run came in May 2023, when he finished second in the Czech Chess Championship after defeating grandmaster Vojtech Plat in the final round.
