GM Jens Kristiansen

Jens Kristiansen is a Danish chess player who has won the Danish Chess Championship five times in total from the 1970s to the 1990s. He achieved the title of International Master (IM) in 1980, followed by the title of Grandmaster (GM) in 1984, making him the third Danish chess player to be awarded the GM title. Kristiansen has participated in fourteen Chess Olympiads for Denmark, taking part in both team and individual competitions, and has won several gold medal for these contributions. He has a unique style of playing that rarely follows established strategies, preferring instead to rely on his own innovative tactics. Apart from his chess career, Kristiansen is a professional dentist.
