GM Leandro Krysa

Leandro Krysa is a chess grandmaster from Argentina. Born on January 26, 1991, he earned his International Master title in 2012, and his Grandmaster title in 2019. Krysa has represented Argentina in the Chess Olympiad on two occasions, in 2016 and 2018. He was a part of the Argentine team that finished third in the World Team Chess Championship in 2017. In terms of individual performances, he won the Argentine Chess Championship in 2016 and the Continental Chess Championship in 2018. Krysa is also a chess coach, and he largely attributes his success to his coach, as well as to the vibrant chess community in his home country.
