Yuriy Kryvoruchko is a Ukrainian chess Grandmaster and former national champion. He was born on December 19, 1986, in Lviv, Ukraine. He earned the title of Grandmaster (GM), one of the highest titles in chess, in 2006. In addition, he has represented Ukraine in numerous international team competitions.
Kryvoruchko has achieved multiple successes throughout his chess career. His most notable achievement was winning the Ukrainian Chess Championship in 2013. In the same year, he came in the third position at the European Individual Chess Championship.
Additionally, he delivered strong performances at the World Chess Championships in 2017 and the Chess Olympiads in 2014 and 2018. As part of the national team, Kryvoruchko has also achieved success in the European Team Chess Championship and the World Team Chess Championship.
