Konstantin Landa is a Russian chess grandmaster, who was born on 22 May 1972. He started his professional career in 1993, achieving the rank of Grandmaster in 1995. Landa has won numerous accolities throughout his career including the Russia Junior Championship, the Chigorin Memorial, the Open Championship of Moscow, and the Aeroflot Open. He has also represented Russia in international competitions, including the Chess Olympiad.
Konstantin Landa also works as a chess trainer and has coached Ukraine national women's team. He taught alongside former women's world champion, Alexandra Kosteniuk, before becoming a coach for the national team.
