Jegor Lashkin is a Moldovan chess grandmaster, born in 2003. He won the Moldovan Chess Championship in 2023 in overwhelming style, scoring 8.5/9 to finish two points clear of the favourite Vladimir Hamitevici.
In 2024 he led the Sharjah Challengers for five rounds before finishing fourth, and in 2025 he qualified for the Chess World Cup, completing his Grandmaster title the same year.
