Pierre Laurent-Paoli is a French chess Grandmaster (GM). He received the title of International Master (IM) in 2017 and GM title in 2019. Some of his major achievements include winning the French Youth Chess Championship in the under-16 age category in 2014 and four wins at the French Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships in the cadets (under-20) division between 2016-19. His strongest accomplishment is considered to be coming in second at the French Chess Championship in 2019.
