Arkadiusz Leniart is a Polish chess grandmaster. Born on December 4, 1988, he earned his international master title in 2009, followed by his grandmaster title in 2016. Leniart was ranked as the 18th strongest player in Poland when his ranking was updated in November 2021.


He has had several impressive tournament finishes, including winning the Mazovian chess championship in 2008, and finishing 3rd at the Polish Chess Championship in 2013. He was also a member of the Polish team that won the U18 European Youth Team Chess Championship in 2007.


Leniart has developed some notable opening theory, including his work on the Kan variation of the Sicilian Defence. He published a book in 2015 on this topic titled "The Complete Kalashnikov."
