Felix Levin is an international chess grandmaster hailing from Germany. He was born on November 30, 1958, in Leningrad, former Soviet Union. Levin moved to Germany in 1990, where he later became naturalized.


Levin's career successes are numerous. He received the title of Grandmaster from the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in 1993. Notably, he came third in the German championship in 1994 and won the A-open in Wijk aan Zee in 1996.


Throughout his career, Levin played for several clubs. In the German Chess Bundesliga, Levin played from 1991 to 1994 for the SV Empor Berlin, from 1994 to 1997 for the chess friends Leipzig and later until 2004 for the SV Werder Bremen. He was also part of the team that won the 2002 German team championship.
