Li Di is a Chinese chess Grandmaster. He particularly excels at blindfold chess, where he once tied for first place in the China National Blindfold Championship.
Li was born on January 1, 1996 in Chengdu of Sichuan. He started playing chess at an early age and by the age of 16 he got the title of Grandmaster. In 2014, he gained significant attention for winning the Grandmaster Chess Tournament in Xi'an. He also represented China at the Batumi Chess Olympiad in 2018, where the team finished as the runners up against the United States.
