He gained recognition for his spectacular performance in the U.S. Junior Chess Championship in 2016 and 2017 where he bagged 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Among his other accolades include winning the 2012 National Scholastic K-12 Championship, representing the U.S. in the World Youth Chess Championships, and the Pan American Youth Chess Championships where he won Gold.
