Christopher Lutz (born February 24, 1971) is a German chess Grandmaster. He earned the International Master title in 1989 and the Grandmaster title in 1992. Lutz is a recognized player who took part in various prestigious chess tournaments internationally. In 1995 and 2001, he won the German Chess Championship, and he also secured a victory at the Politiken Cup in 1998. He played for Germany in five Chess Olympiads, contributing to bronze and silver team victories.
