Mukhiddin Madaminov is an Uzbek chess grandmaster, born on November 2, 2006. He rose steadily through the titles, becoming a FIDE Master in 2019, an International Master in 2022 and a Grandmaster in 2024.

He produced one of the rarest results seen at master level when, playing black in the eighth round of the 2023 World Rapid Chess Championship, he checkmated Surya Shekhar Ganguly in eight moves in a Scotch Game that finished in a scholar's mate pattern. In July 2024 he tied for first in the Master Tournament section of the Biel Chess Festival, and in February 2025 he won the Al-beruniy Masters with 6.5/9 before finishing second in the Uzbek national event the following year.
