Parham Maghsoodloo is a renowned Iranian chess player who holds the title of Grandmaster, the highest title one can hold in chess. Born in 2000 in Gorgan, Iran, Maghsoodloo's significant achievements began to bloom from a young age.


He won the Iranian Chess Championship in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, he also secured victory at the World Junior Chess Championship, establishing himself as one of the strongest young players in the world. Maghsoodloo earned the title of Grandmaster in 2016, at the age of 16, following his impressive performance in a tournament in India.


Besides these notable achievements, he was also victorious at the 2018 Sharjah Masters, 2021 Portugal Open, and 2021 Karpov Tournament. He represented Iran in the 42nd Chess Olympiad in 2016 and 43rd Chess Olympiad in 2018.



Parham Maghsoodloo is seen as an inspirational figure in his home country and is one of Iran's most successful chess players in history. Despite his young age, he has made significant strides in the chess world and continues to be a formidable opponent in international tournaments.
