GM Oleg Maiorov

Oleg Maiorov is a Latvian chess Grandmaster. He was born on 4 March 1965. Although he is well-known as a prominent figure in the chess world, his biography is relatively brief. He was awarded the International Master title in 1991 and then went on to achieve the Grandmaster title in 2003. Maiorov realized his true potential in the game after winning multiple competitions, including the Pavlodar Open (2006) and the Cappelle-la-Grande Open (2002). He also participated the Aeroflot Open tournament in 2008, displaying an impressive performance throughout.
