Jan Malek is a Polish chess grandmaster, born on November 16, 2007. He won gold at the Polish Youth Championships in the under-16 group in 2022 and the under-18 group in 2024, along with national youth rapid and blitz titles, and took a team bronze with Poland at the European Youth Team Championship in the under-18 section.

He represented Poland three times at the European Youth Championships, played in the Polish Chess Championship in 2023, and completed his Grandmaster title in 2025 at seventeen.
