Igor Miladinović is a Serbian-born Greek chess grandmaster. Most importantly, he was born in Niš, Serbia on 25th March 1974 and became a Grandmaster in 1993. Miladinović settled in Athens, Greece in 1990; in 2003 he switched his national federation from Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro to Greece.
Internationally, Miladinović was the Under-16 Champion of Yugoslavia in 1990 and won the World Under-20 Chess Championship in Buenos Aires in 1993. He also won the Greek Championship in 2012. He has competed in multiple Chess Olympiads, representing Yugoslavia or Greece, and in the World Chess Championship of 2000.
Furthermore, Miladinović was the runner-up at the European Championship in 1996 and is also a second to his compatriot, the former world champion challenger Vassily Ivanchuk.
In team play, Miladinović won the Serbian Team Championship both in 2000 and 2001 as a member of SK Beograd and in the Greek Team Championship as a member of the team AO Kydon Chania in 2005, 2007, and 2009.
