Masoud Mosadeghpour is an Iranian Chess Grandmaster. Born on August 3, 1996, he became the youngest Iranian to achieve the title of Grandmaster, earning it at the age of 18. By 2005, Mosadeghpour had already started his competitive chess journey, winning a gold medal in the under-10 category of the 2005 Asian Youth Chess Championship.
He continued his successful career in chess, winning many national and international competitions, including the 20th Fajr International Open Chess Tournament and the Iranian Chess Championship. His performance at the international level earned him the title of International Master (IM) in 2012 and Grandmaster (GM) in 2015.
Mosadeghpour has also represented Iran in various international team events, such as the Chess Olympiad and the World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad. He is now a prominent figure in the Iranian chess community and has made significant contributions to the promotion of the game in his country.
