Daniel Naroditsky is an American chess grandmaster and author. Born on November 9, 1995, in San Francisco, California, he became the World Under-12 Chess Champion in 2007. He published his first book, "Mastering Positional Chess", in 2010 at the age of 14, making him one of the youngest published authors in the field of chess literature. He released a second book, "Mastering Complex Endgames", in 2012.
Naroditsky earned the title of International Master by the age of 14 in 2009 after displaying exceptional performance in multiple tournaments. He became a Grandmaster in 2013, making him the second youngest American to achieve the prestigious title at that time.
As a collegiate chess player, Naroditsky participated in the President’s Cup, also known as the Final Four of College Chess, representing Stanford University. Additionally, he has won the U.S. Junior Chess Championship in 2013 and the Northern California International Chess Tournament in 2014.
