Das Neelotpal is an Indian Chess player, who was awarded the International Master title in 2003 and the Grandmaster title in 2007 by FIDE (Fédération Internationale des Échecs or World Chess Federation). He is known for his strong tactical abilities and aggressive playing style.
Early in his career, Das represented India at various international events, including World Youth Championships and Asian Team Chess Championship. He also competed in several national championships, achieving remarkable results on multiple occasions. He has won several international tournaments, the most notable being the 2006 Parsvnath International Open Chess Tournament and the Open International Bavarian Chess Championship in 2006.
Das Neelotpal was born on 13th December 1982 in Kolkata, India. He was introduced to Chess at a very young age, and won his first district championship at the age of nine. Despite his achievements in chess, he has chosen to pursue a full-time career in engineering.
