Vladislav Nevednichy is a Romanian chess player who earned his Grandmaster title in 1993. Born on 3 November 1969, he started winning awards early in his life, taking home the U20 World Championship in 1989.
Nevednichy has competed for Romania at numerous Chess Olympiads, starting in 1990 all the way through to 2018. He represented Romania at the European Team Chess Championships. At the 33rd Chess Olympiad in 1998, he was the highest-rated player on the Romanian team and helped them to a 10th place finish. In 2005, he won the Reggio Emilia chess tournament, ahead of some grandmasters.
