Kazybek Nogerbek is a Kazakh chess grandmaster, born on May 13, 2004, and the 2024 World Junior Chess Champion. He started playing at six, earned the Candidate Master title at eleven and the FIDE Master title at thirteen. At the 44th Chess Olympiad in 2022 he scored 7.5/10 on board five for Kazakhstan, and FIDE awarded him the International Master title that August.

He completed his Grandmaster title in June 2024 with norms from the 2023 Baku Open, the 2024 Festival International des Jeux and the 2024 Dubai Police Global Challenge, before crowning the year by winning the World Junior Championship.
