Milan Pacher is a Slovak chess player who became an international chess grandmaster in 2016. He studied at the Economics University in Bratislava.
Milan played regularly in Czech and Slovak leagues and participated in European Championship and World Junior Championships. He has represented Slovakia multiple times in the Chess Olympiad and European Team Chess Championship. On the domestic level, he has won multiple tournaments and competitions.
One of his notable tournaments was the 2015 IOCC where he was the best placed Slovak player. He finished among the top places at ACO World Amateur Chess Championship (2015), Staufer Open, Baumax Cup, etc.
Pacher is also a FIDE trainer and has been training various age category players since 2005. He was part of the team that helped shape the national training programs in Slovakia. He also works as a chess coach at the Chess School of Grandmasters in Bratislava.
