GM Mikhail Panarin

Mikhail Panarin is a Russian chess Grandmaster, born on 6th February 1986 in Krasnodar. He was given the title of Grandmaster in 2009. Panarin’s most significant achievement came in 2015 when he won the Chigorin Memorial tournament, which is a notable international chess competition held in Russia annually. Apart from this, he also achieved two notable results in 2016: shared first place at the Moscow Open and outright first place at the Nakhchivan Open. He is acknowledged for his strategic mastery in chess playing.
