Renato R. Quintiliano is a Brazilian chess grandmaster. His highest FIDE rating, which he achieved in October 2018, was 2491. Quintiliano became a FIDE Master in 2005 and earned the title of International Master in 2007.
During his chess career, Quintiliano participated in several prestigious competitions and showed notable results. He became the Brazilian champion in 2004 and won several state championships. Internationally, he had success in the South American Championship and represented Brazil in the World Youth Championship.
Quintiliano also became known for his work as a chess coach. He was particularly focused on developing young talents and promoting chess in schools. He was the coach of the chess project of the city of Piracicaba, which has brought significant results. Under his leadership, the Brazilian team won the South American School Championship in 2018.
When it comes to his education, Quintiliano graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo, and also holds an MBA degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
