Vaishali Rameshbabu (born 10 July 2001) is an Indian chess player who holds the title of Woman Grandmaster (WGM), awarded by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) in 2019. She was also the former Under-14 girls world champion, winning the title in 2015.


Vaishali was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She started playing chess at the age of four and later started to be coached by her father Rameshbabu, himself a rated player. Her brother, Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, is also a chess prodigy who is the youngest International Master in history.


Vaishali won gold in the 2015 World Youth Chess Championships for the U14 girls category. She also won the Asian senior girls title in 2016.


In 2017, she won the National Women's Premier Chess Championship in India. In the same year, she won the International Women GrandMaster Tournament at the Aeroflot Open, held in Russia.
