Andrés Rodríguez Vila is a renowned international chess grandmaster hailing from Uruguay. Born on December 29, 1973, in Montevideo, his outstanding talents have led him to win the Uruguayan Championship four times thus far. Additionally, he represented his country in multiple Chess Olympiad tournaments, notably in 1996, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008, displaying consistent performance over the years. Furthermore, he won the South American Championship in 2007.
