Andrey Vladimirovich Rychagov (born 14 May 1969) is a Russian chess Grandmaster who earned his Grandmaster title in 2000. He has taken part in many tournaments and matches, securing various successes.


The highlight of his career was his victory in the Russian Championships Higher League in 2005. He also won the Russian Team Chess Championships with his team "Tomsk-400" in 2004 and 2005, and an individual silver medal in 2004. In 2006, he won the Moscow championships as well as the Politiken Cup international chess tournament in Helsingor, Denmark – a total of 10.5 points from 11 games with 10 wins and 1 draw.


In Switzerland, he came first at the Chur International Chess Festival in 2006 and was runner-up in the Bern Chess Festival of 2009. He also finished 5th in the 2006 European Championships and participated in the 2007 World Chess Championships in Mexico.
