Salem Abdul Rahman Saleh is a chess Grandmaster from the United Arab Emirates who was born in Sharjah in 1993. He became the UAE national champion at a young age, and was awarded the chess candidate master title, followed by the FIDE master title both in 2006. Known prominently as Salem Saleh, he would eventually achieve the grandmaster title in 2009.
