Lajos Seres is an international chess grandmaster from Hungary. Born on March 28, 1961 in Debrecen, he achieved his grandmaster status in 1998. Throughout his career, he played in many European Team Championships and won several international tournaments such as Balatonfured Open in 1995, Casino Barcelona in 2001, and NEC CUP in 2003.
