Vitaly Sivuk is a Ukrainian chess Grandmaster. Born on 11th January 1987, he gained his international master title in 2006 before achieving the grandmaster title in 2013. Sivuk participated in various chess championships at both national and international levels with notable performances.
His career highlights include first place in Ukrainian U20 championship in 2007 in the city of Kirovograd, and his triumph in the Agzamov Memorial tournament held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2014.
Sivuk scored 7.5/11 in the 2015 Chess World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, his first participation in the Chess World Cup, but he was eliminated in the first round. In the same year, he won the Memorial of A. Pogorelskin in Syzran, Russia.
