Nitzan Steinberg is an American-Israeli chess prodigy. He discovered his love for chess when he was seven years old and has since been recognized as one of the leading figures in Israeli chess. He was born on June 9, 2004 in Palo Alto, California, USA but moved to Israel when he was just four months old. He spent his early childhood years in Israel and returned to the U.S. in 2015.

Steinberg participated in numerous chess tournaments and championships in both the U.S. and Israel. Aside from his mental prowess in chess, he also applies his strategic thinking to the field of computer science and is known to have developed a software that assists in analyzing chess games. Other notable achievements include winning the 2019 U.S. National K-12 Championship and the 2019 Arnold Denker Tournament of High School Champions.

Nitzan Steinberg is not just a chess player, but also a chess teacher, giving lectures and classes to both children and adults alike. Despite his young age, he has already cemented his status as a chess grandmaster and continues to exhibit dedication and a commitment to learning from each game, while inspiring his peers and future generations to embrace chess and its various challenges.
