Hrvoje Stević (born 8 January 1980) is a Croatian chess Grandmaster whose career highlights have been primarily within the chess arena. He won the Croatian Chess Championship in 2008 and achieved the title of Grandmaster in 2006. Stević has also represented his country multiple times at the Chess Olympiads.
Stević studied economics, yet devotes most of his time to chess. He has been actively involved in the Croatian chess community, serving as President of the Chess Club Požega from 2005 to 2007, while also coaching the national youth team and working as an arbiter.
Despite not being as active in recent years, due to prioritising his managerial role at a computer company, Stević remains one of the top ranked chess players in Croatia.
