GM Dalibor Stojanović

Dalibor Stojanović is a Bosnian chess grandmaster who was born in Belgrade, Serbia on June 6, 1960. He earned the titles of FIDE Master in 1986 and International Master in 1992 before officially becoming a grandmaster in 1999. Stojanović has won the Belgrade Championship in 1992 and 2003, the Silver Lake Open in Veliko Gradište in 2009 and the Bosnian Championship in 2011. He has also represented his country in multiple Chess Olympiads. He is known as a specialist of the King's Gambit and has published several well-regarded studies on this particular opening configuration. In addition to his active playing career, Stojanović also works as a chess coach and has helped train many up-and-coming players.
