Jacek Stopa is a Polish chess grandmaster and member of the Polish national team. Stopa,



He was born on 20 February 1987 in Szczecin, Poland, beginning his chess journey at an early age. His talent and dedication were evident from an early age, with consistent performances in national junior championships. As his play progressed, he earned the title of International Master in 2005 and was awarded the grandmaster title in October 2008.


In terms of competition, Stopa was a member of the silver medal-winning Polish team at the European U18 Team Chess Championship in 2005. His individual achievements include sharing first place in the 2009 Arctic Chess Challenge, winning the Sabadell International tournament in 2012, and finishing first in the 2013 Berkeley International tournament.


Stopa has contributed to the world of chess beyond playing. He has also worked as a chess coach, helping to develop upcoming talents.
