Mohammad Amin Tabatabaei is an Iranian chess Grandmaster who was born on February 5, 2001. He gained recognition in 2015 when he won the Iranian Chess Championship at just 14 years of age, making him the youngest player ever to gain this title. Later in the same year, he also won the Asian U-14 chess championship.

Tabatabaei received his International Master title in 2015 and his Grandmaster title in 2018. Throughout his career, he has participated in many prestigious events such as World Youth Chess Championships. He won the bronze medal in the World Junior Chess Championship in 2018 and won the Sharjah Masters in 2019.
