Branko Tadić is a Serbian chess grandmaster, born on January 15, 1965. He has been one of the leading Serbian chess players for over two decades and has been a grandmaster since 1987.


Tadić has represented Yugoslavia and Serbia in numerous international competitions. He took part in the Chess Olympiad nine times (1988–2004), and in the European Team Chess Championships six times (1989–2000), earning an individual gold medal in 1992. In 1997, he was the champion of the powerful Agzamov Memorial tournament. He has also played in various national championships, winning the Yugoslav championship in 1991.


Aside from being an active player, Tadić has served as a coach and an arbiter. He was one of the coaches of the Serbian women's team that won the silver medal at the 2009 European Team Chess Championships.
