Konstantin Tarlev is a professional chess Grandmaster from Moldova. Born on April 21, 1969 in Balti, a city in Northern Moldova, Tarlev began playing chess at a very early age. The main points of his career include his multiple victories in Moldovan Championships. His international career took off in earnest with his participation in the Europian Chess Union held in Vienna in 1995.
While Tarlev has been less active in recent years, he remains a respected figure in Moldovan chess. Today, he continues to play, often representing his country in international competitions. Apart from his playing career, Tarlev also works as a chess coach, helping train the next generation of Moldovan players.
