Jingyao Tin is a Singaporean chess player who became an International Master in 2012, making him the youngest Singaporean to achieve that status. In 2016, at the age of 17, he became one of the few to be awarded the title of International Chess Federation (FIDE) Grandmaster, making him the second Singaporean, after Xiangyu Xu, and the youngest, to hold that distinction. He received his formal training at Singapore Chess Federation's Centre for Chess Excellence starting from the age of seven. Tin Jingyao also won the Singapore National Chess Championships in 2013, 2018, and 2019. He is the youngest ever winner of this championship.
