Zhamsaran Tsydypov is a Russian chess Grandmaster. He was born on 11th April 1996 in Aleksandrovskoe, Russia. He achieved his Grandmaster title in 2017. His career is marked by a number of significant achievements in several championship games.
Tsydypov has won and performed impressively in numerous tournaments. He won the Chigorin Memorial in 2017 and the Russian Junior Championship in 2016. He also emerged victoriously in the 2019 Aeroflot Open B.
He represented his country in the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad in 2011, where his team grabbed the gold. Tsydypov himself achieved the individual silver medal on board four.
Apart from his active participation in international-level chess competitions, Tsydypov has also contributed as a second to fellow chess player Aleksandra Goryachkina in her games.
